When buying from an artist you are buying more than just an object
You are buying hundrets of hours of failures und experimentation
You are buying days, weeks and month of frustration
and moments of pure joy.
You aren´t just buying a thing...
you are buying a piece of heart, a part of a soul, a moment of someones life.
Artists love their work and do what they love to do,
but that does not mean that they can work for free.
Even artists have to pay
bills.
Please respect that
art is work too!

So still um ihn geworden.

    Liebe Grüße

  3. Wonderfully said. There is still nothing like handmade/homemade things.

  4. Hallo Melli! You, Dirk and Birgit are so right about this subject, but you can't do anything against it :(!! They don't see that handmade things has taken the artist lots of hours to create them, lots of energy after making some failures, trying to get new energy for starting all over again, or for giving it that special touch, where someone is asking for, that you put your heart in that piece of work.....
Yes, it has always been hard to be an artist, but fortunately they are still here on the world :D!!
I hope to see your work soon. I hope that everything is well with you?
    Liebe Grüsse, Ilona

  5. Oh so true and very funny! How my broken nails and paint covered hands look, can only be proof of the many hours I spend on art ;)

  7. I read that recently somewhere. I think it is brilliant. Hopefully it makes people stop and think when they buy handmade arts and crafts.
