Heute möchte ich euch "Shanti" vorstellen

Eine ganz liebe Kundin von Melli, bei der schon unsere Schimpansen Frodo, Chicco und Hasani wohnen,

und nun ist es endlich geschafft

Es gab mal jemanden im Leben von unserer Melli, der ihr gesagt hat, dass Mellis Können für einen Orang Utan nicht ausreicht...

dass sie nicht gut genug ist, um so etwas Schwieriges wie einen Orang Utan zu schaffen

deswegen musste sie sich und ihr angeknackstes Selbstbewusstsein immer wieder sehr überwinden um Shanti zu nähen

doch nun ist Shanti fertig und macht Mellis Kundin hoffentlich viel Freude

 Shanti ist 56cm groß, sie hat 5 Gelenke und Arme, Beine, Zehen, Finger und Mund sind voll beweglich wie bei allen Affen die Melli macht

Shanti is 56cm (22inches) tall, 5 way jointed and has stepless movable arms, legs, toes, fingers and mouth, like all apes Melli makes

in Shanti´s Bauch stecken zwei Kilo Granulat

Der Name "Shanti" stammt, wie Shanti´s Verwandte aus Sumatra und bedeutet "Ruhe/Frieden"

aber ich kann euch versichern

so ruhig und friedlich wie ihr Name glauben lässt ist Shanti gar nicht!

haben wir noch einiges zu erledigen.

Zum Beispiel wollen wir euch noch ein Regal zeigen, das Melli für die Weihnachtswerkstatt gebaut hat

Hier sollen die ganzen Spielzeuge reinkommen die Santas Elfen gebaut haben

Viel ist noch nicht drin, aber wenn nächstes Jahr dann mehr Elfen in der Werkstatt sind, dann kommen bestimmt auch schnell mehr Spielzeuge ins Regal

Melli hat dieses Jahr so viel zu tun, dass sie bis zur letzten Minute beschäftigt sein wird, aber ab und an kommt auch bei ihr ein bisschen Weihnachtsstimmung durch. Seit ein paar Tagen singt sie zum Beispiel immer diese eine Stelle von einem Weihnachtslied:

Wir sind diese Woche ein bisschen spät dran, aber keine Angst, uns geht es gut. Melli hat nur einfach viel zu tun zur Zeit... aber diese Woche gerät aus aktuellem Anlass ohnehin einiges durcheinander.

Ihr hattet beim letzten Mal die Wahll: Weihnachtswerkstatt oder neuer Pippibär

Die Mehrheit von euch wollte einen neuen Pippibär in der Weihnachtswerkstatt sehen....

Ich muss ja schon sagen: ziemlich clever von euch!

Ja, irgendwann, denn dass die Weihnachtswerkstatt dieses Jahr nicht fertig wird, sondern nun Jahr für Jahr ergänzt wird, war ja schon immer klar

Im Moment arbeitet unser Bärenmacherelf hier ganz allein

Na, seid ihr schon genervt von unserem Weihnachtsprojekt?

Tut uns leid, aber Melli hat die Angewohnheit, dass sie ihre Weihnachtsdekoration an ihrem Geburtstag fertig haben möchte... fertig wird die Weihnachtswerkstatt dieses Jahr zwar sowieso nicht, aber ein bisschen weihnachtlich soll es bis dahin eben schon aussehen... 

und in so einer Weihnachtswerkstatt gibt es eben viel zu sehen und zu entdecken

Schaut euch zum Beispiel mal diesen dreisten Kerl an

Erst mal mussten die 19 inzwischen glitzernden Lanpenschirme angebracht werden

und der Weihnachtsbaum wurde auch schon aufgestellt, auch wenn er noch nicht fertig geschmückt ist

Bei diesem Anblick fiel mir ein, dass ich mal an den Fingern abzählen muss, ob meine braven Tage dieses Jahr ausreichen um ein Geschenk zu bekommen

Wir kamen aber ziemlich schnell wieder auf andere Gedanken, als Melli dieses Teil fertig gebaut hatte

Ein Weihnachtsschlitten! Genau in unserer Größe!

Nemus, Fluci (zusammen): "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Melli (drohend): "Wagt es bloß nicht das arme kleine Mäusemädchen vor den Schlitten zu spannen!"

Nemus: "Aber ein Geweih würde ihr sicher gut stehen!"

Melli: "Wehe euch!"
(ab hier verfälscht das Blitzlicht der Kamera die Farben leider ziemlich)

ähmm... wo waren wir? achja genau

als Nächstes bepinselte Melli solche Stäbchen, erst in dunkler Holzlasur und dann mit goldenen Ringen

ganze 60 Stäbchen musste sie bemalen... und das war wohl ziemlich viel Arbeit... zumindest hatte Melli dabei die ganze Zeit ziemlich schlechte Laune

Melli hat das dann mit Tannengirlanden umwickelt und auch im Hintergrund die Bögen haben einen Girlandenschmuck bekommen
